Why We Have This Policy:
At Blacklisted Autodetailing, the safety of our technicians and the integrity of your vehicle are our highest priorities. We have established this biohazard disclaimer to ensure transparency regarding specialized interior cleaning details. When a vehicle contains potentially hazardous materials—such as mold, rodent or animal droppings, or human bodily fluids—the cleaning process shifts from a standard detail to a specialized decontamination service.
Safety & Proper Handling
Dealing with biohazards requires a level of protection and expertise that goes beyond traditional detailing. These environments can harbor dangerous bacteria, viruses, and allergens. To manage these risks effectively, our team utilizes professional-grade Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follows strict protocols for the proper handling and legal disposal of hazardous waste. This ensures that the contaminants are not just moved around, but are safely removed and neutralized, leaving your cabin truly sanitized.
Pricing Considerations
Because of the specialized chemicals, disposable safety gear, and extended labor time required to safely restore a biohazardous interior, these factors are heavily considered in our project pricing. Each case is assessed individually to ensure we provide the most thorough and safe results possible for you and your family.
We also offer a "Insurance Quote for Damage do to immediate onset see below:
Preliminary Water Damage Inspection & Insurance Documentation:
We offer a specialized preliminary inspection for sudden-onset water damage to help you navigate the insurance claim process. This comprehensive service includes full documentation with high-quality photos and video, as well as a formal report emailed directly to your insurance company.
Process & Requirements
Because insurance claims require specific, detailed criteria, this inspection typically takes 2-4 hours. To see the full extent of the damage, it is necessary to remove seats and/or turn up the carpet. Due to the potential for mold and contaminants, professional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for this process.
Pricing & Total Loss Considerations
This service starts at $350, though the final price may vary based on the size and condition of the vehicle as well as the breakdown needed to properly document the condition of the vehicle. Please be aware that the preliminary estimate, combined with a secondary estimate after insurance approval, can sometimes result in a total loss if the total repair costs exceed the current value of the vehicle.
